Brave Homes is a supportive housing complex for homeless veterans in LA, CA. The complex includes both a community space as well as Micro apartments for residents to call home during a period of time. The community space provides support that homeless veterans need to improve or maintain their wellbeing. With enhancing the veteran's sense of community, four other support areas were designed based on research to help aid and improve the wellbeing of veterans. These areas included a community kitchen & pantry, an exercise room, and two rooms for medical professionals and counselors to come in to meet with individuals. The micro apartments found in the wing of the space provide residents a place to temporarily call home. The complex is designed to be accessible to all. The community spaces were designed by myself, Alyssa Troumbly, and my partner, Sophie Johnson. This project includes a custom design logo and brand designed by both me and Sophie Johnson.
